1. Why should I write my auto-biography?

Because we all have a story to tell, and your story matters.

2. What if I don't want an entire auto-biography written, can I just chronicle an important event or chapter in my life?

Yes, you can opt for a chronicle/memoir.

3. Why should I write a loved one’s biography?

Writing the biography of a loved one is a wonderful way to honor a person’s life and memory. Perhaps you have a friend or family member who is no longer with us, and you, along with the help of other friends and family members of that person, would like to share your memories of that individual’s life’s story.

4. What kind of membership plans do you offer?

We currently offer five different membership plans:

  • $8.99 for an individual autobiography, biography, or memoir

Friends & Family membership plans (for individual family members writing their personal bios and groups of friends writing their friendship bios)

  • $12.99 for a family/friend of two
  • $15.99 for a family/friend of three
  • $18.99 for a family/friend of four
  • $22.99 for family/friend of five

5. How does it work?

Upon submitting your membership form, you’ll receive a questionnaire to fill-out and submit on our website. Upon receipt of your questionnaire, we’ll begin the writing process for you, based on the information provided. We’ll then email you the opening page(s) of your bio, for you to review and return, as well as for you to add more information, based on more of our questions and suggestions, which we will then proceed to convert into more content.

6. Is there a minimum age requirement to sign up?

No, but we do prefer that our members be at least 18 years of age. During the initial writing and pre-publication stages, we will not require any documentary proof, and do ask that our members adhere to the honor system.

7. What exactly do I get for my monthly membership fee?

You get an unlimited amount of submissions of your autobiography and/or biography, or memoir per month, as well as ongoing support throughout the entire process until satisfactory completion, which will include emails, telephone and/or video conference calls by appointment.

8. Who are the writers/editors?

Our CEO & Founder, Edgar Bonilla, is involved in every stage of the writing process. He is supported by a team of talented independent writers/editors who are on call to assist you with the interesting challenge of capturing your unique voice and transcribing it onto paper.

9. How can I become a member?

10. Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes, you may cancel, as well as renew, at any time.

11. What about my privacy?

We take privacy very seriously. In order to protect the identities of our members in case of a cyberattack, we ask that all members chose a pseudonym, as early as possible, during the initial stage of the writing process. Furthermore, our organization will always have the latest and most sophisticated software to combat against any potential hacking. In addition, any and all employees, as well as any independent contractors, will be strictly bound by a confidentiality agreement, and all members will be required to sign an indemnification clause as well.

12. Do I have to publish to the general public?

No, general publication is optional.

13. What publication options do you offer?

Our organization has future plans to establish its own publishing house, as a subsidiary/child company.

14. How long does the process take?

Writing an auto-biography or biography will vary from person-to-person. Depending on the frequency of submissions, it can take anywhere from several months to a few years, or more. We’ll be working closely together to establish a reasonable timeline for completion.
